  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  1. Season the chicken breast pieces with salt and black pepper.

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  1. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the heavy cream and butter to the skillet. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is heated through.

  1. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
