Ingredients
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 800 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped basil leaves.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil leaves if desired.
Note

You can customize this dish by adding other ingredients such as olives, capers, or vegan meatballs.
